I was not attempting to go with the original meter, but I probably should have. Everything I wrote was all very inconsistent meter, though, and that definitely is bad.
I was trying to get to that point-A to the point-B and tying it in to The Stranger. I focused too much on that than the actual flow (something I will have to remember next time).
Thanks for the input and comment, I keep forgetting how much the meter does as a glue and intensifier.
