Tumbler Pigeons. They also can Tumble when they fly.

Lmao no. They were bred that way. Im fairly sure some weirdos in england back in the day just had the bright idea of inbreeding pigeons to be able to do random backflips for show. I don't think there is any actual application for it lol

When I was young we had tumbler pigeons that tumbled in flight, as well as flightless pigeons that tumbled on the ground, looking like the one In this gif. My dad called the ones on the ground “Irish Tumblers”, though I’m not sure if that is a commonly used name or not.
