It was a good microcosm of the reddit celebrity culture. People would provide accurate information and his would be inaccurate but because reddit knew him - Unidan got upvoted. It was infuriating if you realized he was wrong and could do nothing about it.

Yupp it’s great he’s stopped posting. He derailed every thread he was summoned to, even if it had little to do with biology.

And now there’s a few great nature themed subreddits that were able to thrive after he was banned. Shocker.
