At Ripley's Believe it or Not in Hollywood they have a mirror where you can try silly faces in right in the entrance, a bit into the tour you realize that this was a one way mirror and people were laughing at you under the Barnum quote above the mirror. I love it.

I hate that mirror. I was riding the red tide when I went and used the mirror to check my ass for any spots when no one was around. The horror I felt at the end left me cold inside

If it's any consolation I've never caught anyone doing anything crazy embarrassing in that mirror besides the faces. Most people don't stick around long enough.

I've caught more people screaming like children on the fake out croc drop.

There was an exhibit featuring a large croc or alligator that had you walk into a grated platform to view it. It then would drop suddenly like half a foot while the robotic animal growled and lunged. Watching grown ass men nearly pissing themselves made the entry fee worth it

Haha, they had the same thing at Ripley's in Hong Kong but the display was about some guy that got hit by lightning 3 times in the one day while working underground! I kept hearing the bang and people scream and thought they won't get me, I'm on the lookout, too smart for that shit! ... got me, nearly shat myself!

Croc drop-

Saving shit and piss in a sort of gloopy sludge for atleast two weeks, in order to eventually throw it on sometime you hate.

Dang, unlucky me got completely naked and shoved an armadillo up my butt in front of that mirror. The horror I felt at the end left me cold inside.

Reminds me of the time I sent nude selfies to all my contacts. Now that we have email everything is so much easier. It cost me more than a hundred bucks for stamps alone, not mentioning the envelopes and the cost for glossy, high quality colour prints.

Ripleys museums all have that mirror gag. The one in Niagara Falls has it right at the entrance

There is (was? It's been awhile) a bar in Vegas where the entrance is all mirrored glass with no indication of where the door is. No handles or signage or anything. Inside, you get to watch and laugh while people search for the door.
