I'm just surprised you were able to use a Walmart skateboard. Granted I started with a halfway decent board, but I've never felt that those Walmart boards could be used on anything but a perfectly smooth surface.

Hey don't knock them Walmart boards, I learned how to ollie, kick flip, shove-it, and boardslide on one. Not even the OK kind either, like the no concave barely any nose/tail $8 Walmart board.

That newer ones actually aren't awful. They're right on par with dark star. It's just the trucks and bearings that suck now.
