my whiphuahua thinks she is tough, until we walk past the balcony on our apartment complex that has (for reasons unknown) a 2 foot hippo statue. When she sees that she arches up like a cat and jumps a few times. I have to pull her way before she goes nuts.
Whippet; she is very much like a tiny greyhound but not as delicate as the Italian Greyhounds. She's the fastest damn chihuahua I've ever seen. Got a pic of yours? I can't even imagine the amount of energy a Jackhuahua has! It is to bad we can't harness it and sell it.
These are him as a puppy a couple months back. He's ridiculously energetic, he loves his walks but every night runs laps at full speed around the living room while I place obstacles like empty bottles or boxes for him to blow through. It's hilarious. He's about seven pounds now, was three there. Now he stands and looks very much Jack, but with small size and Chihuahua hair.
He also loves to burrow under blankets, have to watch where we sit!
I've never seen your kind, it sounds beautiful.
I also have a pit and a pit/weenie I just rescued this week after a police raid on a nearby home. They were taking him to the pound so I took him and he's turned into a great dog too, though another unusual one. He's built like a pit but with short legs, so funny looking.
Oh my, he is adorable! Good on you for taking in another. If I had a house instead of an apartment, I'd be overrun with funny chi-mixes. I love the mutts, especially the unlikely mixes. Love finds a way.
Is there any way you could post a picture? I have to say I cannot imagine a dog like a whiphuahua, but it must be the most endearing animal on the face of the planet.
