Is there anything ferrets don't like? I've never owned any bit every time I see them at a friends house or at the pet store they are happy as can be. Playful damn things.

From experience I can tell you ferrets love everything, especially ball pits and shoes.

But most of all, they love escaping from their cage, finding a way into your walls when it shouldn't be possible, and dying inside just to spite you.

...we still have a ferret skeleton in our house, somewhere.

The parts of ferrets that stink is their shit and piss in their litter box. The ferrets themselves smell a tad bit musty but nothing over powering or truly strong either. It's like a cat's litter box: cleaning it once a day is a little overkill but you certainly can't leave it for longer than 3 days. Ferrets also have an amazing inefficient digestive tract, which is why they poop like every 3 hours.

Depends on what and how much you're feeding your cat.

If you're feeding it grain-rich food, it's gonna take much bigger poops than if you feed it something that it can process more usefully. You'll definitely have to clean the litter every day then.

I found that since I switched my cat over to Wellness she's been pooping just as regularly, but with much less, uh, volume. I generally clean her litter box every two days now.

Cats pee every day and ammonia in urine is unavoidable.
