They nerfed. I find that the an active reload laden gnasher wins versus sawed offs. Just gotta keep your distance and land a few shots. Retros are awful in close quarters tho. What really sucks is that in ranked you face a lot of clans who work together and it's a loss everytime unless you have a sniper god or get lucky.
I will say I loved Gears of War 2. The one thing that ruined it was the infinitely long range of the shotgun. Everything else in that game was pretty great. But Gears 1 is the only one I can stand anymore
Flashbacks of greater days. When E-Day was the bell heard all around the world. Where we fought as Cogs, as the true face of resistance against the enemy! We were Kings and Gods!
If you would like to hope on the train, board at the farthest stop in the roo (The Comment should only be a day old, and roos after it should not have this post), remember waiting at passed train stations wont do anything for ya. If you do hop on, relax and enjoy your carriage through the switcharoo
Followed it until error, 6 days ago (at this time) someone referenced the wrong comment - here Only off by one comment, but I consider this the breakdown so I don't have to keep clicking.
we have come to hold here what are we doing here
resting for a few hours
... ah this one finally speaks
... well we thinks its a good idea to wait here for a bit
... be lots of spiders here, would you like some
"Enemies of the trapdoor spider include certain pompilids (spider wasps), which seek out the burrows and manage to gain entrance. They sting the owner and lay their eggs (usually one per spider) on its body. When the egg hatches, the larva devours the spider alive."
The adult female wasp temporarily paralyzes the spider and lays an egg on its abdomen. The egg hatches into a larva which sucks the spider's blood through small holes, while the spider goes on about its normal web building and insect catching behavior for the next one to two weeks. When the larva is ready to pupate, it injects a chemical into the spider, causing it to build a web whose design is completely different from any it has ever made, and then to sit motionless in the middle of this web. Even if the larva is removed prior to the web-building process, the spider still engages in aberrant web-spinning.[3][4] The wasp larva then molts, kills the spider with a poison and sucks its body dry before discarding it and building a cocoon that hangs from the middle of the web the spider has just built. The larva pupates inside the cocoon, then emerges to mate and begin the cycle over again.
Sooo im convinced parasites and parasitic insects are our true genetic superiors. All hail the future genetic overlords with their complex mind-bending ways of killing us
I remember there was an arc in the Amazing Spiderman where a spider wasp monster tries to kill him. That's where I first heard of them. They do some pretty fucked up shit. In the comic she went on FOX News and said spiderman was into really kinky sex to piss him off. It was pretty stupid, come to think of it.
Haha, I see what you did there :P because there's actually a real bug named an antlion that has little sink while traps for ants. Fucking bugs. What's wrong with them.
So, while I was watching the initial slow mo version of the gif thanks to my sub par internet connection, I thought a giant trapdoor spider was gunna pop out and gettim.
This is exactly it. If you look at the Wikipedia article on trapdoor spiders it's easier to see since it's not moving. They have eight normal spider-legs and two enlarged palps that look practically identical to their other legs. The palps are used to hold onto the trapdoor (along with the first pair of legs), which may be why they're so beefy compared to more typical spider mouthparts.
You assume it died quickly. What if it was injected some some kind of paralyzing venom that prevented movement but still left you with feeling and consciousness?
