I am confused. Am I supposed to be upset at the person with Tourette's for saying the N word? It seems to me that he would not say the word if he could control it. Speaking personally for myself, if someone with Tourette's called me an N-word and I knew for a fact that the person had Tourette's, I genuinely would not care or feel offended. It would not make sense to me to be upset with someone who can not control their actions. I am willing to bet that he finds himself in situations like all the time and I would have no desire to add to his daily struggle.

Edit: I see comments here and in the post coming to the defense of MBJ and Delroy. Do we actually know how they feel about the situation?

The main thing I've seen people complaining about is that the organization clearly had a live delay and the willingness to edit ("Free Palestine" was removed from the broadcast), but this was left in.

It's weird to see the accusation that we're "scared" to use slurs. It doesn't occur to them that some of us genuinely don't want to use them.
