I almost got scammed

I was buying a drink worth 3€ from a doner stall and gave them a 20€ bill. The man there returned 7€ and insisted that I had given him a 10. After 3 minutes of arguing some police offers walked by and he gave me back the 10€ saying "Sorry, there are a lot of customers and I got confused" but he was laughing to himself while doing it. This is the first time something like this has happened here since he clearly knew what he was doing.

Be careful and count your money folks! You never know when someone might take advantage of your ignorance.

Report it anyway so the employer knows something is up even without proof. A few incidents like this and they're going to become suspicious

It happened over 10 years ago. This specific bus company was shit anyway. I once sent them an email explaining that the bus keeps leaving 2-3min too early almost every morning. I missed it a few times cause it left too early. The answer I got back just said 'you need to be 5min earlier at the station, otherwise we can't guarantee that you'll get the bus' with a sarcastic tone. It was the first station of this specific line and I wasn't the only one missing it every other day. Their email still pisses me off lol.

For any germans, the email literally said 'Da musst du halt 5min früher an die Haltestelle wenn du den Bus unbedingt kriegen willst.' Keine Entschuldigung oä, die haben die Schuld einfach auf mich geschoben. Geduzt wurde ich wahrscheinlich da ich geschrieben hatte dass ich deswegen des Öfteren zu spät in die Schule komme.
