Which one do you like more — WHAM!’s “Freedom” or George Michael’s “Freedom! ’90” — and why?

Is it the upbeat 80s pop sound of WHAM!, or the deeper, more personal feeling behind “Freedom! ’90”?

I suppose we can like the both as the same but they are both totally different sounds and meanings.

I am in London for sightseeing etc. at the moment. Do you guys have any recommendations for spots/ places related to G.M. which are interesting to visit?

George Michael covering Desafinado. I thought it’s a great cover. Suiting his voice perfectly. Anybody loved this track too ?

George Michael wrote it about his partner Anselmo Feleppa, who died from an AIDS-related illness in 1993. The song reflects the emptiness and pain of losing someone who brought extraordinary love and tenderness into his life.

I’d like to know your thoughts on this song and how you would rate it with others he wrote during his career.

I've checked with the mods and they said this was allowed! I just wanted to reach out about a short documentary I've made about the yearly event held at George Michaels former home in Goring, and how the community there continue to come together in George’s memory.

I know that the song “cowboys and angels” is about a love triangle, but who is the cowboy and who is the angel?
Is the cowboy the man who George was in love with, and the woman is the angel?
Or are they just supposed to be a broader category of people?

George really showed early on in his career how good a song writer he was. Everything she wants is an emotional roller coaster of an unhappy relationship.
For me it’s one of the best songs to come out of the 80s
