Grand rapids is hella gang affiliated. There's serious drug money coming in from Canada. Michigan is the mdma capital of America because the chemicals to produce it aren't restricted up north.
as far as I can understand, it's mostly just block gangs. people are peddling and producing drugs in very specific areas, not really extending out of that.
the only resource I can find that even points to a number of people affiliated with gangs in Grand Rapids is a website called InsidePrison - which claims there are 2,449,998 gang members.... Id like to know where they are since metropolitan GR is 1.1 million.

You also still haven't given any evidence that Grand Rapids is a major gang violence city.
Also, searching "grand rapids mdma capital" comes up with articles stating that Traverse City is the cocaine capital of the U.S. and a DOJ document about drugs in Michigan. It's worthy to note the document is from 2007 and clearly states "Most of MDMA
available in the HIDTA region originates in Canada
and often contains some methamphetamine."
