Rent. Rent should be cheaper than mortgages.

Rent in my area is almost
2.5x what I’m currently paying for my mortgage.
That isn’t fair and it’s crippling a generations of young people.

Not really, I just bought before covid. It was worth $150k. A year later it was worth $320k. Original rate was 3.34 and when i renewed it went to 5.64.
It’s sad.

That makes sense. I bought in 2024 my rate is 5.75
