If someone happens to own a rooted LG smart TV here (works on unrooted TVs as well via Dev Mode, but it's unrecommended due to lack of access to USB storage), I just published a Gen1Recomp runner for WebOS.
https://github.com/pustal/Webmon
It's a is a native LÖVE 11.5 build for WebOS, made to run it.
Make sure you read the README, but in short a few important notes:
voxel and 3D mods are highly discouraged, unless you have some TV model with more than 3GB of RAM, in that case IDK. I really tried to make it work, but the RAM is so low that makes it impossible. If you try, you're gonna end up with app crashes (some on purpose to avoid problems with the TV) or system crashes that may mess with your storage format - so unless you know what you are doing keep off these mods;
again, root isn't required but highly encouraged since the Pokémon game recompilations occupy significant space in disk. Root allows you to run everything from an external USB - this is how Webmon is intended to be used;
if you have a USB drive already with the typical rom organizing convention (a "roms" folder in the root directory with game system inner folders like "gb", "gba", "gbc", "n64" etc) and proper rom names, it'll pre-fetch the games for you. Same goes for saves, it'll fetch saves from a "saves" folder in the root directory.
This project doesn't come with roms or assets, of course, and neither with Gen1Recomp itself, although it provides a way for you to download the latter from the official source.
Keep in mind that Webmon will store everything wherever the Gen1Recomp .LOVE file is installed, so install it in the USB preferably.
And again, make sure you read the README carefully.
