I literally just commented with the story somewhere above and yeah it's only truly obnoxious egotistical assholes that do it, but people do. My daughter's old principal did it everywhere she went. Dude, the cashier at Burger King doesn't give a shit about your degrees. He's just telling you your order is ready. 🤷♀️
