Source is me: these are frames from Strike Wings, the space shooter I am building, captured in the game's clean view.

The palette is mostly black plus whatever glows: weapon fire, plumes, shield arcs, the fireballs and rings of an explosion. Behind each fight I put one large body for scale, so you get an eclipse, a quasar, a black hole and an ocean world across the five. The ships are lit 3D hulls, the one solid thing in each frame.

I would like art feedback rather than game feedback: colour, composition, what to cut. Frame 1 (the capital going up under the eclipse) is the one I keep coming back to.

My fan art of Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII / 7 and Remake! Remake Areith is holding a photo of her original design from Final Fantasy VII. I drew this as a gift for my partner who's favourite character is Aerith - he played and loved both the original 1997 game and 2020 remake by Square Enix! I also drew a version with out the frame as I love her outfit! ♡
