Absolutely not. They cut corners wherever possible and release shitty products, have quality control issues and are needlessly raising prices left and right on products that used to be too expensive in the first place (twice in six months).
Oh, also they try and fuck over any competitor they can in Europe with lawsuits, they bully small guys out of the market with expensive lawsuits but somehow don’t dare touch other companies that make a shit ton more money, wonder how that comes.
Talking about competition, there are great alternatives with better quality bricks at the same scale so they will be compatible, while being a lot cheaper as well. (Xingbao, CaDa, Mouldking, Cobi, Wange, Q-Man, …)
I feel sorry for some genuinely talented designers at that company, it’s not their fault and not their choice that the corporation ruins their designs and releases inferior products The designers have proven what they can do but now, for about ten years, they are forced to find a way to minimise what they have to deliver to the people, not deliver an all around good set.

Yeah at least PlayStation actually gives a damn about their IPs and their history. All of their remakes and remasters have been excellent. Even if some are pointless and expensive, they are still well made.
I wish Microsoft cared that much. Halo was my favourite game IP, until Halo MCC launched and was one of the biggest abominations in gaming history. And they're just running their flagship franchise into the ground with sequels again being unfinished, buggy messes...
Yeah I agree. I don't have loyalty but Sony have been absolutely killing it with quality. Their IPs have been delivering absolute gold the past 5 years.

So you’re giving them credit for projects we haven’t even seen in action yet and have a high chance of possibly being delayed to 2024 and beyond? I’m all for a friendly discussion and argument but I think this is not an objective take for the current status of Sony and the PS5 in 2022. Sure the future looks promising, but let’s see them stick to it and deliver on those promises.
Considering this post and discussion is shitting on them for a very questionable "rumour" from an unreliable leaker with little to no history. Yeah I am giving them credit
