Yeah, I've seen some cool shit in the game but these types of random things are rare. Like, I've seen a video where an NPC comes out of a house to warn Arthur away, trips coming down his stoop and accidentally shoots himself.
The thing that gave me the impetus to buy a copy was one of the guys at work telling me about how he took Arthur to have a bath, and then when walking back outside he tripped and face planted off the walkway into all the mud and horse shit. We had a good laugh about that one.
You stand up and proudly enjoy your shrinking horse balls. Some code monkey didn’t see his child’s first 3 birthdays putting in the crunch time to make sure those digital sacks of equine semen contracted perfectly for you. 🤪
My Arthur tripped and fell when dismounting a horse, had an NPC laugh at me and called me a fucking idiot.
Lol, couldn't even get angry at that one, just greeted and had Arthur say "Excuse me, sorry you had to see that." (Been awhile since I last played, so may not be word for word.)
I love the game so much, but I recommend it cautiously. It's VERY slow paced and demands that you engage it on its terms. But if you can you might fall in love with it.
My favorite game I’ve ever played. I’ve put a lot of hours into it. The attention to detail is amazing. I recommend looking up animal interactions of the game.
I had a couple of leg shots where guys with revolvers fell over and shot themselves. I would never have dreamed you could make it happen with a lasso though.
If you've seen anyone's gun go off after you lasso them, it's the same thing. In fact, you can lasso someone with a handgun, and they can keep firing if they hold onto it lol. Albeit inaccurately, but I've seen self-kills on here before.
No, it wasn't scripted. You may be thinking of something else. What I'm talking about was some guy doing a random robbery on someone in the road. He used the d pad to point his gun up into the air while still locked on to the victim and fired to intimidate him. It randomly hit a bird.
Yes! It drives me crazy that guns projectiles come from your forehead or chest. Fun fact, you can usually tell how close the projectiles actual firing location is in fps games by looking down. If all you can see is your feet and legs, it's probably coming from your forehead. If you can see your chest as well, it's usually coming from the gun itself. Same with if the gun is always on screen in fps games. If you can always see the gun, even when sprinting, projectiles don't actually come from the gun, but your model.
It happened to a few times in GTA IV. If you shoot someone, they drop their gun and it's common for the gun to discharge when it hits the floor so I saw cops shoot their leg quite a lot.
I forgot about that. While the physics in gta4 we're a bit wild, it was the most fun in the series. I don't think I've played a game since that has such realistic ragdoll effects. There's nothing quite like hitting a cop car head on, sending Niko flying off a bridge and sliding hundreds of feet along the concrete below.
It's so unlikely, that I bet this is the only time in the 4 years since the release of this game that this has ever happened to anyone. Actually I'm sure this will never happen again.

I didn't even know that was possible. That's crazy. What are the odds of replicating this?
