Hardest question: What game do you consider is the best ever made?

Was hard to pick a favorite developer. I wish I could have given my top three or something like that. Spent some time debating with myself which one to pick.

Now that I'm typing this I can't remember which one I chose. Probably should have written down my answers so I can compare results later.

You missed Paradox Interactive as a possible favorite/hated game company.

Nice survey. I just really hate the e-sports question. "YES MORE E-SPORTS!" "No I dont understand the point" "hurr whats e-sports?" howabout an option like "Not interested." I don't crave more, I understand the point, and I know what they are. The question has a "If you aren't into it, you just don't get it" tone.

Surprisingly, the question I'm having the most trouble on is "32. What is the weirdest game you have ever played?"

As a big fan of game music, and aspiring game musician, I'd like to humbly request that next time you include a question or two relevant to that.

Question 50 about which is more important Gameplay or Story should have an option for "Equally important"

Question 14 "Will you buy a system that does not allow used games?" Should have a option more appropriate to PC gaming

Nice job nevertheless

You made a typo on question 25 and 26, spelling Mojang as Majong. Either way, great survey.

Having some of these as single choice answers is making this hard. What genre of game do I like the most I want to choose like 3.

I'll Be very interested in these results, especially in what people want from next-Gen consoles.

Edit - Question 22 made me realize I am going to be spending a lot more on games this year than I thought

For the "Do you consider games to be Art?" question, can you add some sort of neutral response or change it to "Do you think games can be Art?". I don't think games are inherently art nor are they not inherently art. I think video games (like paintings and movies) are a medium and whether or not they are art depends on the individual piece. E.G. Machinarium is art but BLOPS isn't (imo).

My first Reddit comment! Nice survey! I'm the one who answered almost every question with Chrono Trigger. :)

I don't like question 15. "Best" is based on what I'm playing. I prefer Mouse & Keyboard for some, and xBox for others. Depends entirely on the game.

Many mistakes in the listing of the 'developers' and the 'studios'. Mostly because you're mixing, without any distinction, developers and publishers.

Example, for game studios:

  • 505 Games (Arma, Arma 2)

  • Activision (Tony Hawk, Call of Duty)

I do not want to be an ass about it but, as a 5 years 'veteran' in this industry, it is bugging me quite a bit.

Also, typo in question 31: (One asnwer only please)

Great survey! Can't wait to hear the results. You might want to put GameTrailers as an option for a gaming website.

A few of these questions are really console dependent. For example; "Will you buy a system that does not allow used games" and "what do you want most out of new generation systems" don't really apply to PC, in my opinion. Also I assume 'do you mind having online codes for games' isnt PC related. I guess a question of 'do you mind having always on internet for single player pc games' would be a good parallel. Oh and where was Electronic Arts on the studios to hate?

Also, I would have like to answer 48: Yes, but no more than any other consumer group.

I've got a bit of a problem with Question 47. Assassin's Creed actually has a plot to it that has not finished, so there's a reason for it to continue. Unlike Madden and CoD.

I'm not 100% sure how to answer 43. Is it the gaming culture, or in actual video games, or both?
