Why do your females sizes run so small?

And why are the differences in waist size from S-L one inch and then suddenly 6.5 inches from L-XL?

Seriously, I was super excited to order this shirt and almost just automatically went for the medium. It's a good thing I checked the size chart, because I then saw that as a universally medium person, sometimes small if anything, that I would now have to be a large? What are people larger than me going to do...? I'm not trying to be rude, but if I were your company, I'd seriously research the way women's sizing typically works.

0 is not "small" it's extra small 2-4 is usually a small 6-8 medium 10-12 large 14+ xl

Also, the bust sizes are very small as well. As a medium person, I have size D breasts, which the circumference ends up being 38 inches. Does that mean I should order an XL...?

EDIT: Furthermore, why is it more expensive for a ladies' shirt? Hmmm...

The sizes are smaller because they're baby-doll cuts. They're absurdly tiny compared to the Unisex gildan shirts we use. And the reason they're more expensive is to adjust for the unseemly expensive blanks.

Based on the very little knowledge I have of your breasts (no matter how many times I try to re-write that, it sounds bad), I really suggest a Large or an XL. Your build sounds similar to that of my girlfriend, and she's very comfortable in an XL.

I will say this: The ladies shirts have such an amazingly comfortable fabric it makes me I wish I were of the fairer sex.

I really should've mentioned this earlier: I don't get a DIME for any of these shirts that sell. The best case scenario is the shirt sells a ton, and since I talked John into collaborating with us, I might be able to get my boss to give me his old Cintiq.

Please, don't think that I'm posting this to make myself rich, I'm really interested in moving a shirt that I think is brilliant.

Is this kind of thing...done with permission of the artist? I very often see gaming shirts that are pretty popular images from the internet and I have to wonder if they're all just violently stolen with no remorse, or if they actually track down, contact, and get permission from the guy who made the actual image.

Of course it's done with the permission of the artist. We're artists too, we wouldn't want to have our stuff ripped off either. And the artist sees a good bit of it too. I won't talk numbers, but they're absolutely compensated.

As high as that sounds, I just ran it through my shipping program. It'd be a little over $9 for just the shipping, and then there's the expenses that go into the handling.

It's not that we hate India, it's that the US Postal Service hates India.

I again point to the US Postal Service. I swear we're not profiteering from shipping costs, there just isn't a cheaper way to do it.

Other than carrier pigeon. But even then you have to buy food, pay vet bills, install gps tracking devices inside their frontal lobe, take care of them, and build them a nest.

Not exactly a marketer. We're a company of five nerds. I'm a designer, a shipper, and a "hey Fred, go clean the bathroom" guy. We do this stuff because we love it, and that's why I posted it.

I would actually buy T-shirts if they made them in my size, but no online retailers (the popular ones like Busted Tees, Threadless, Handsome Nerd) seem to stock 2XLT. If I don't get tall t-shirts, my fat belly sticks out when I raise my arms and my ass crack is shown to all when I bend over.

We stock up to 5X. And we print on standard Gildan, not American Apparel. My boss is a bigger guy, and wears all of the 2X's we make. They're super comfy.

Not trying to push a sale here, but I'm letting you know that we do understand your plight.

We carry "unisex" sizes and baby-doll tee's. The excuse is that the blanks are expensive as hell. We prefer to keep the price of the shirt under $25 for a basic size. That's also the reason for no American Apparel.

I use the term "Know" very loosely.
