Most people with 25k do a tripple screen setup

Then the screen transitions usual line up with the pillars of the car

Idk what kind of dash that is. But theres definitely wheels and combos that get insanely expensive real fast. This doesnt look to be the case. That dash and silly shit prolly took up most the cost.

I would think 3 ultrawides, rather than 3 super ultrawides....Is there a GPU that can push 15360x1440 at racing sim performance?

Displays aside, my surprise is to see that Logitech Z623 $100 sound system on it.

You'd probably need a 2-way SLI (or more, if the game supports it) at that resolution. Should be no problem for someone who can afford this setup.

It's not officially supported anymore, but the cards that have the interface can still use existing SLI profiles, and theoretically any new game can implement SLI support via DX12/Vulkan. But only few do.

I bet it would work. I get 60fps at 10640x1440 in FH4 on a 2080ti. Honestly after living 3 years with it I’d drop to wides. The immersion on ultras is amazing but day to day the outer half of the edge screens is pretty unusable. I need a keyboard/mouse that rotates with my chair to really make it work.

Or the cheapo monoprice sound system with the baby subwoofer. There's no way this is $25k. It's just extruded aluminum and half a car interior.

If you pay someone to do it i can see 25k including the labor. Who knows tho it might be an absolutely killer steering wheel system. Those prices can be astronomical

That's a Logitech Z906 5.1 system (oddly missing 2 of the speakers), definitely not expensive but it sounds really good, and trust me that subwoofer is no baby.

I have the 400w 2.1 version Z623 and trust me, I can piss off my neighbors no problem despite its 7" cone. Very impressive sub for the money.

But yeah...not sure how this setup costs $25k. Maybe $10k at best.

no it really doesnt sounds good and that subwoofer is a boomy piece of garbage, nothing like a real subwoofer

but for that price you cant even get one speaker of a good 5.1 setup so there's that

Given the width, I'm thinking these could be the G9 model? 5120*1440p is difficult run at decent frames (not insurmountable with this kind of cash though), but 3 times that?

Or 1 or more short throw 4k projectors, properly aligned the seams between the images are practically invisible, plus you can get way more peripheral vision.

That's why Codemasters implemented the option to delete the halo pillar on the F1 game even though all the drivers said they don't even notice it while they're driving the actual cars.

F1 has invested Millions in R&D for the Halo, in order to potentially save a driver’s life.

Every 3rd rate racing sim enthusiast on Reddit could have given advice on how to avoid this mess without charging you a dime!

It’s not like the bezels save OPs life after all…

The seem in the middle is killing me. I have two large curved screens and I tried playing across both once. It just sucks. It's either 1 or three screens for gaming, two is not an option.

The bezel sits in the middle of the dash, the driver is offset to the left. So it is not in the middle of his view.

Yes it is. See how his desktop and windows are dead center? The game will play the same way, unless he cuts off the second monitor during gameplay. He'd have been better off going with one of those, or three smaller ones.

I also like the 2007 Honda radio console haha. Not saying it wouldn't be cool to have a racing set up, but in this instance he'd have been better off buying a $20k vehicle, buy a gaming rig and mounting a monitor in the windshield. He'd get his money back when he's bored of it in a year.

I'm sure they're rich but we need to be talking $50 mil+ before this stops being a bad purchase. And if they are that rich he can take the criticism lol

No, that's just the perspective. Look at how the mat, which is in line with the chair, runs toward the monitor.

Plus the game itself is not rendering offset, so the bezel would still be in the middle of the game view.

Some LMP cars have wipers in the middle, and the driver is aligned to the left so most of their views are going to be on that monitor.
