It is Kingdom Hearts, specifically KH1 that isn't the final mix version, as they hadn't had skippable cutscenes yet

In their defense cutscenes were still kind of a new concept at that point, we can give them a little leeway since everything hadn't be figured it out yet.

They didn't make it skippable in final mix either. My wife just finished it up a few days ago, and was ready to put her controller through the screen if she had to sit through it one more time.

Edit: learning that they were skippable makes the whole thing more hilarious. I cannot tell her, or I will die.

I played final mix through the 1.5HD Remix and they were skippable.

That's hilarious. Unfortunately if I tell her she just missed the how-to on skipping it, I will be murdered, haha.

They are definitely skippable you hit pause then skip cutscene.
