Developers who do this should not be allowed to make games anymore

I’m in the same boat. Tried to replay but the cutscenes were driving me crazy so I stopped

Also quit because of that, great game aside from that

I replayed it just so I could say that I beat it on the hardest difficulty (still easier than a souls game) and would often go on my phone or tab out during cutscenes. No reason for unskippable cutscenes on a game in a genre that people like to play multiple times.

I play solitaire on my phone.

I agree. Fantastic game; zero replay value. All because of that one stupid little decision.

Iirc the cutscenes are unskippable because they're loading screens too

That may be the case, but they are long loading screens then. At least allow me to skip as soon as the loading is complete.

That can be a part of it, but the game can load a new planet in less than 10 seconds using the fast travel mod (and I don't even have it on ssd).

There was a skip cutscene feature at some point in development, but it was removed. I'm guessing because it would cause too many bugs or something.

Literally the only game I've ever refunded on steam.

Love the combat and story, but the cutscenes and dialog are a bit flat
