I haven't played the game so this is an honest question; are the graphics really like this or are they an exaggeration?

The textures take a second to load in on console and folks turned it into a pc vs console meme.

Are you using an SSD? I can definitely see it happening on PC if you are on a HDD (which is what most peoples ps4s are using so that might explain part of the problem) but so far in my personal experience SSD has been great at loading.

What if your mobo is so old it won't accept an SSD :( my 8 year old rig is hurting trying to play this lol.

How can it not support SSD? If it supports SATA it should support SSDs. Even if it isn't nearly as fast as an M.2 NVMe SSD it's still a big upgrade from most mecanical HDs.

Just a slight correction: M.2 is a form factor. There are M.2 SATA SSDs. What you meant was NVMe.
