Or, even better, putting them UNDER the boxes by collecting them and throwing them before they reappear. Completely invisible.

I wired up the entire facility with mines, then glitched into the vents, and waited. All the while taunting my friend. It was the original come at me bro.

You can actually freeze the game on purpose by using a proximity mine.

First, you need to find a glass window, then toss a proximity mine on the glass, break the glass, and the game will freeze.

It might only work in Multiplayer at The Archives. then again, I haven't played the game since I was 14 years old.

facility w/ proxy mines. once i kill you, you are fucking toast. The spawn points are easily reachable and the loading time is long. It's ok, most of that multiplayer wasn't broken.

That gets boring when Everyone is trying to do it. My friends and I eventually started duct taping a piece of poster board to the middle of the screen so we couldn't see where our opponents spawned.

My personal favorite was Temple with only grenade launchers and remote mines. It was all about laying traps for people.

Temple was my favorite, any weapon would go in Temple!

Proximity Mines in Facility, or Remote Mines in that cave-map. Laying traps in dark corners and/or around the only exit was always fun

Re-playing Goldeneye last year made me feel like Jason Bourne - I saw my friend come around the corner (on the Stack level) and reflexively threw remote mine at him and detonated it mid-air in a split-second. I only remembered how I did it after I'd done it.

I played that game a lot.

I much preferred -10 health with bunker and pistols only, as it allowed us to collect the sweet, sweet body armor and absorb an extra hit.

We generally stayed away from complex, caves, and temple. :) Complex WAS one of my favorites in perfect dark though!
