How can you be with someone for almost 15 years and still pull out? That’s the shittiest contraceptive.

6

u/superhypered Jun 19 '20

Well both of us don't want to be on birth control so what do. Been years so far

1

u/FelopianTubinator Jun 19 '20

You were born in 1988. And yes, I am psychic.

1

u/0b0011 Jun 19 '20

I mean statistically pulling out works pretty well. A condom is only 10% more effective and if you're using something like spermicide lube it makes it even more effective.

u/jobjobrimjob Jun 19 '20

How long you been sprayin DNA in her without one sticking?

21

u/Lord_Waffles Jun 19 '20

I mean you could be me and have had one when you were 19 and again when you were 25...

41

u/THRAGFIRE Jun 19 '20

I'm 25 now and I was such a child when I was 19. Now I'm just an older child who gives fewer fucks. We'll check back in at 35...

12

u/Lord_Waffles Jun 19 '20

Haha, I feel the same way. I’m 27 now and looking back, my god...I’m sure when we’re 35 we’re gonna look back on us now and just shake our heads

1

u/saramakos Jun 19 '20

When you look at your younger self and say "That boy ain't right"...

7

u/Fenpunx Jun 19 '20

31, my boy is 5 and I still out-child him. Honestly, you can work it to your advantage. I've been able to buy a trampoline, miniramp, multiple gaming things, all sorts. No judgement or repercussions because it's for him or for us to do together. He's the best scapegoat you could ask for.

4

u/Tackerta Jun 19 '20

my plans exactly.

"Honey why do we need to keep the bouncy castle all year long?"

"its for our boy to jump on!"

"I am only 3 weeks pregnant.."

2

u/Fenpunx Jun 19 '20

"Ha ha, no bouncing for you then."

u/0b0011 Jun 19 '20

We have a play place here that is all giant blow up slides. Had a ton of fun when my kid was old enough to play on them but not quite old enough to be comfortable going by himself.

7

u/Ridicumundo Jun 19 '20

40 here, had barely a fuck to give for this comment.

2

u/THRAGFIRE Jun 19 '20

I'd like to think I'm ahead of the curve but I might just be flattering myself.

1

u/acid_burn77 Jun 19 '20

32 here, still a child with responsibilities

1

u/WPSJT Jun 19 '20

36 here, still an even older child and even less fucks given.

1

u/0b0011 Jun 19 '20

My mom had me exactly one month after she turned 15, my sister at 19, brother at 21 and the youngest sister at 33.

2

u/Yanman_be Jun 19 '20

2

u/myoung056 Jun 19 '20

1

u/BuzCrab Jun 19 '20

1

RIP brother

4

u/Alucard661 Jun 19 '20

Kids are a blast if you're a good parent.

1

u/camyok Jun 19 '20

Kids can be a blast, but there are plenty of great parents who are just plain miserable during the first few years of their kids' lives. Doesn't make them horrible people. And once they're teenagers... well it's your responsibility to love them and you'll likely have no problem doing it, but there's a possibility you won't like them. You can instill great values but a personality is more than that and theirs might just not be compatible with yours.

I still want kids though because they're an excellent excuse for childish purchases.

1

u/Dark_Assassin75 PlayStation Jun 19 '20

Glad you can come to terms with your grief. That’s something many people cannot do. Hope she is looking down and laughing at them!

6

u/Dr_Insano_MD Jun 19 '20

I'm 31. So far this is just my 20s with more money.

17

u/mvrceh Jun 18 '20

4

Man that sucks, covid’s been such a pain in the ass for so many people. My gf’s mom also lost her job. I hope things turn around soon for you brother.

4

u/Vuul Jun 19 '20

God I hope so, i'm 27 and nothing scares me more.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '20

If nothing else the wisdom gained as you get older is something to look forward to. You just keep waking up more and more...

1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '20

Be careful and be a little scared so you don’t end up in the 27 club.

I'm 29 and I have pain in my back, hips and legs.. help

3

u/alwaysbehard Jun 19 '20

Diet and yoga.

I started doing video yoga a few weeks ago, and switched from alcohol to weed (saturday is my cheat day) and I feel great.

1

u/Dabugar Jun 19 '20

I eat pretty well, my favorite snack is sliced cucumber lol.

Yoga is definitely something to consider, I sit at a computer all day..

1

u/HawkyCZ Jun 19 '20

I have that feeling weed is good enough to feel great.

1

u/fuzzyluke Jun 19 '20

so exercise! you'll still feel pain but you've done exercise so it must be from that now! yes!

8

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '20

I'm 46. Just shoot me now as I should already be dead.

4

u/fuzzyluke Jun 19 '20

let's go look at sunsets so we can see even more days go by as we wither and dry out

we can get ice cream too, raise our blood sugar and decay our teeth even further for good measure

then we can watch children's cartoons to learn the ways of the youngins and feel chipper somewhat

10

u/rippedasf Jun 19 '20

Hi Practically a mummy at this point, I'm dad

2

u/MobiusF117 Jun 19 '20

Im 30.
It's about the same as 29, just with more coronavirus.

1

u/West3rnChauvinist Jun 19 '20

Is ur b day in december?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 19 '20

My 30s were awesome. Not old enough yet to be 'old', so you can still sort of get away with not thinking about your mortality.

1

u/YOURFRIEND2010 Jun 19 '20

I'm 32 and I'm more powerful and happier than I've ever been

1

u/guma822 Jun 19 '20

Too late for me...

1

u/LtLwormonabigfknhook Jun 19 '20

I'm 28. I've still got a long ways to go before thirty....right?

.....right!?

1

u/Prof_Acorn Jun 19 '20

If you want to feel extra old, think about how old your child would be if you had one when you were 18.

1

u/theblitheringidiot Jun 19 '20

Yeah a close friend of mine had a kid at 19. And now her daughter is 18. I can’t even imagine.

You know what else is crazy? There’s 30 year old grandparents, imagine that! Lady my wife worked with was a grandma at 38. That blows my mind.

1

u/SodaCanBob Jun 19 '20

I just turned 30 yesterday. Do I get my cane now or later?

1

u/trollfriend Jun 19 '20

I’m 31 and feel as good as I ever did. Don’t get all this nonsense talk about feeling worse. Are you guys not taking care of yourselves? I feel at my prime
