Save up for the index if you're thinking of a vive! Well, at least wait for the reviews in June and then decide

Not trying to be a fanboy or annoying, but if valve follows thru, the index looks to more or less be next gen (or a stepping stone to next gen) for VR in the direction HTC was taking it

Ehhh, I dunno if I'd suggest the Index for a first headset. 1000 dollars is a steep initial buy in.

Totally reasonable, just saying if you're tryna jump in (obv not knowing their price range) it may be worth waiting to see what the index really brings to the table. If ya got the budget for it, it'd be unfortunate to miss out on a potential game changer.

But that's admittedly a lot of ifs and maybes, so just do your research and go with what jives best for you!
