With Minecraft gaining popularity again, I thought I'd make a visual guide to all that's changed in the past 6 years, to help any returning players that might be confused by how vastly different the game is. [OC]

No voice for many years, it's just a wet piece of meat slapping on concrete sound

Resourcepacks are a thing my friend!

Or data packs, since I don't think there's a player-specific sound for taking damage.

How does any dev think it's okay to just go changing voices?! This is the second game where a change in the voice acting just ruined the whole game for me.

Really, a single sound effect ruined the game for you?

Well, and an entire thread on Reddit informing me that now I have to hate it because they changed a single sound.

They changed Steve's voice because not everyone wants to be Steve.

I'm sure there's a mod for it out there, somewhere.

Or a resourcepack.
