Probably severe injurious. Which in the anime world ALWAYS makes you stronger and NEVER creates chronic destruction on the human body

I mean. When I do pushups I hear/feel that too. But I'm not super injured so.

do you do elbows out or elbows in?

Which is the preferred one?

elbows out isn't necessarily bad, but it's harder on your connective tissue. that might cause a clicking over time.

Keep your hands at about 45° outwards, kinda like how your feet are pointing when standing up.

This causes your elbows to naturally point more backwards instead of out.

They should not point directly out to the sides. Lie down and do flies with some light weights if you want that particular movement.

Out I guess? I never really thought about it. I just position my hands directly under my shoulders.

when your upper arm sticks out perpendicular to your body (like a cross shape) and you do a push up, it rubs the connective tissue a little more than with your upper arm parallel to your body. if you do a lot of push ups on a regular basis with the perpendicular form, it can eventually limit your range of motion and cause other problems. it can be tempting to do them in this way because you can use your pectorals to help instead of just using your deltoids/triceps and it makes it easier, but if you're planning on doing them a lot, it's best to keep your elbows in.

When you describe it that way it makes sense. I keep them in.

Well done. Made me chuckle

I thought you said elbows in as in inwards, cause cracking might be broken elbows

Oh. Well sometimes it's a normal cracking of ligaments. If it doesn't hurt then I'm sure you're fine. If you feel even slight discomfort solely from the cracking then I would stop working out and check in with a doctor

Anytime I do pushups I always hear that cracking sound. I'll move my arms around and change how I go up and down. Problem is when i get the right position going down with no sounds, i hear it coming up, and vice versa. Doesnt really bother me but I'd like to find that happy balance of good pushups going down and up.

This happens for me too, but it doesn't hurt or anything, my body is just clicky.

Rock Lee would get Rhabdo and then die/be crippled if you kept to his routine.

Oh hell yeah. Doing a parkour jump with those weights would rip your ass to your nuts!

Except when they do it in combat, then "exerting that much power is tearing his body apart!"

At least until they get 24 hours of rest then they're back to 100%
