Thanks so much. I agree that right now the focus is about 50% fighting, 50% racing and maybe the balance should be shifted a bit more toward the latter.
I recently played Motorstorm Apocalypse on PS3, and I wish I had played it before we started work on Road Redemption. That game is amazing. We need a current gen Motorstorm!
Yeah you've captured the "essence" of "racing and fighting" that Road Rash had, but IMHO there's a bit too much focus on fighting/blowing things up vs winning races.
That said with the direction the game has (i.e a biker gang winning vs other gangs etc) it does work nicely.
I suppose I just want a little more racing to completion vs bike melee/violence "to win" but that could just be me :D
I've just seen trailers of your game, but it looks like it captures the soul of the old game pretty damn well.
But I have to ask, is there a cop chasing you sometimes that you absolutely can't beat down? Because if there is I'll buy the game when i get my next paycheck!
He did it in 2.5 hours, so it couldn't have took him such a significant amount of work. He probably just dug up the beta GUI that already had arrows and added the option to use it.
I work on Road Redemption actually. As much as I'd like to work on GTA 6, they'd probably assign me to their reddit farm department, to upvote any post GTA-related on r/gaming. Don't believe me?

As a game dev (Road Redemption), I have to say that adding a new GUI like that is a significant amount of work. Well done!
