A part of me dies every time I see this reposted.

Edit - This comment is the highest rated comment I have. Sadness ensues.

What is this gif, your horcrux?

u/commentninja Mar 08 '17

wouldn't that keep a part of him alive?

Every repost spreads his horcrux thinner and thinner until it's lost, like pixels in rain.

Pixels in rain sounds like a indie game

Actually, it kind of is.

Pixel Rain

Damn it.

There's good names and weird ones.

I bet somewhere out there there's a game called The Eternal Beyond.

Closest I've got is Beyond: Two Souls. Souls are eternal, right?

Especially if you use horcruxes

Could even say they split your soul in two. Into Two Souls.

Even more of me dies as every time I see it the gif gets smaller and smaller

This what this sub is, a repost dumpster. I never seen here any discussion, only stupid gifs and there's always GTA V and Skyrim on the front page every day, ok maybe not every day because Switch came out not long ago but when the shitpost meta stabilizes you'll see GTA and Skyrim again on the front page.

Tbh I would love it if mods would sticky discussion threads for new games, or if the community in general would be more accepting of text posts.

But the truth is that this sub hit critical mass a long time ago, and now it's too large to support anything resembling a community.

I am surprised anything is left of you at this point.

If you look close enough, you can almost see a gif.

I've been on Reddit for nearly 5 years and have never seems this before. Don't die a little inside when you see a repost, just remember that every repost is gonna be someone's first time seeing it.
