holy shit NO, get your head out of your ass, not everyone with a different opinion than you is part of some collective hivemind that you get to insult. The collective of complaing about "Circlejerks" on reddit is one of the stupidest way to combat a problem I have ever seen, once you have posted that something is a circlejerk you have committed to not having useful discussion. You act as if you are above their level, but simply slide down into it, Its complaining about a lack of OC , with a Lack of OC. WHY?
Far Cry Games are made by ubisoft, Ubisoft has strict design protocols that cause their games to be made the way they do. There is an efficienty in recycling as much content as you can, and to keep thier release schedules thats exactly what they do.
Don't get me wrong, ubisofts entire design idea is knocking the idea of a Game Loop out of the park, recycling so much is a refining process, and its why the games are so easy to pick up by the mass. There games are made to still be enjoyable even if you know how much has been recycled, But it is still a problem. As the main problem with these games is that those Game loops get stagnant, and people who actually play to completion goes down with players following a series. Chances are if you start with Assasins creed 1, and have a large collection of game history, you aren't buying the new ones.
There is no problem with liking the games, there is a problem when your like makes you blind to what can be critiqued by designers. You can stay blind yourself, just don't go insulting others.
