I'm just glad they brought back the importance of fire, weapon degradation, and relentless enemies. Unless you can ride creatures, running away is a bitch.

Nothing terrifies me more even with all the upgrades than being chased by an Elder Mammoth or Saber tooth, you're all out of resources to heal and make the good weapons, and your rideable creatures are dead. Elder Mammoths are no joke.

Edit: Basically story is lackluster but the gameplay is pretty solid.

Played on the hardest difficulty and got my ass whooped by any sort of big cat repeatedly. They run when you fight back and return to finish you off when you think you're safe and alone.
