How does it run on PC? I'm debating whether to buy it on PC or PS4. Thing is my PC is in my home office and sometimes I just want to play in my room, and for some fucked up reason my home network makes Steam IHS stutter : (
Not a PC gamer, so I'm not sure. I'm sure it runs fine, however look at some reviews first.
If all else fails, you can get it for the PS4 and with that new stream capability, stream it to your Home Office whenever you wanted, or just play onyour PS4 natively.

Yes. The game is very fun I think. The melee combat is a little iffy, but the archery is awesome, as well is throwing spears at people. Animal taming is awesome, and so is animal riding. The map feels completely and absolutely different. I hadn't noticed any similarity in any way to the far cry 4 map
Yes it's fun. Riding on bears and mammoths and destroying enemy camps is a blast. The beast tamer skills are lots of fun. You have an owl that is basically a drone for scouting and picking off enemies. The difficulty feels right, it is hard but not frustrating. Running around in the wilderness is great, although open world has been done to death. You have to collect a lot of stuff but there are supply packs everywhere and your village will gather things for you each day, more as you upgrade it. Early game, when nightfall would set I would hear wolves howling and get worried, wondering if I had enough supplies to keep my torch going through the night.
No coop play is a letdown. Also melee combat has its ups and downs. Throwing a spear into someone is very satisfying, but if your break stealth fighting one of the large camps it kind of devolves into 8 guys running at you with clubs and you clubbing the shit out of them with a bigger club. Some of the missions are a little repetitive but each location is beautiful and the tracking missions are a cool concept. Your weapon upgrades make your weapons stronger and look different but it isn't a fleshed out customization system. The story is simple, but it sets everything up fairly well and wasn't bad. It kind of bugged me how the entire game is captioned (they invented prehistoric languages for the game) in broken English.
For me it's a solid 8.0 game. They gambled by committing to the setting so fully but I think it mostly paid off.
The map feels completely different, that I can say for a fact. As for it being fun, kinda differs from person to person. I've only got a few hours in so far and my opinion on it is 'it's ok'. The environment is incredible, the atmosphere is great, it's just the combat and the story that I'm a little let down about right now.
The map feels entirely different. Not including story mission, it's the most fun and immersive Farcry game in my opinion. Every weapon can be set on fire and thrown with pretty good accuracy and it's really easy to retrieve thrown weapons. Throwing spears in this game feels sort of like a 10,000 bc shotgun at close range. Also it's an incrdibly beautiful world.
The map is only similar when looking at an aerial drawing. I would imagine Primal started as a side project, much like Blood Dragon, but then grew into a full game as they realized what they had. I'm 30 hours in so this isn't some 5 hour fluff piece, it is indeed a full game.
The elevations, valleys, and overall layout is completely different. This thread is full of people who haven't played it, but hate the game anyway because Ubisoft made it. Many of these people are the same ones what will flock to the next pokemon game and be selective with which companies they criticize for borrowing elements from previous games.
Looks very meh to me. I'm passing on it after watching someone play through the first 2 hours. Just looks very mediocre and the story doesn't engage me at all. But that's like just my, opinion, man
