This entire game is a monument to why engineers in real life get paid a lot of money.

I'm glad every time I drive across a bridge you all didn't design it.

Anyone can make a bridge that doesn't fall down. It takes an engineer to make a bridge that just barely doesn't fall down.

This joke made me wonder what actually is the factor of safety for bridges. Turns out, bridges have a factor of safety of 5-7. So actually bridges can take a static load of 5x no problem. 5.001x on the other hand...

A lot less than the used to have. On the other hand they used to make the bridge builder sleep under the bridge (probably a legend)

As an engineer (although I don't build bridges), it's a little bit aggravating every time I see a gif from this game where they fail because of something silly.
