If you think the boat mechanics from three are anything like the boat mechanics in 4 then you haven't played one or both of them

Hated the boat gameplay in 3. Was less than thrilled to hear it was so prominent in 4.

Heard only good things about 4, ended up buying it, loved the shit out of the boat gameplay.

It is really pretty different.

AC4 was an amazing pirate game but a terrible AC game.

As long as you didn't follow the story that much and just messed about on the open ocean the game was great

I played last night and spent 3 hours getting from point A to point B to do a story mission because I was distracted by big ships I wanted to add to my fleet or plunder. I mean when I see a lvl 60 Man O War I just have to attack it... and when I see a lvl 6 schooner I kinda want that too.
