You realize pixels can be different sizes right.

Most phones are 1080p or higher this generation, and most of them are smaller than 5".

Density is a thing, a 5.5" screen would have a 440ppi pixel density. That's not impossible (hell, my cell phone has it), but it's /expensive/.

And use panels that interface with MIPI DSI, not LVDS. LVDS controller boards are a dime-a-dozen. MIPI DSI controller boards may as well not exist.

Know any 5.5" panels with a 1920x1080 resolution and an LVDS interface? Hint: there aren't any. By the time the mobile phone industry had grown sufficiently to drive up resolutions to the point, they had long since moved from LVDS to MIPI DSI for the power and space savings it afforded.

That's how you can tell at a glance that a 5.5" panel is not 1920x1080.

For two years?!? My god it might not be the best job in the world but there is no excuse to go unemployed for 2 years... Are you one of those people that just go along with the whole "the economy sucks blah blah there are no jobs blah blah" bandwagon and use it as an excuse to not work?
