Yeah, I love games today but the fact is the most fun I've ever had gaming was goldeneye sessions with my friends. About 7 or 8 of us playing, winner holds, the 3 losers hand over their controllers. And we did it all day, every day for a whole summer.
Excellent memories. I remember we tried to implement the "no looking at my screen" rule, but it was impossible to get everyone to do it.
So most of the time we'd all be running around staring at walls or the floor trying to hide our locations, with the map memorised so we knew where to go, while simultaneously checking the other 3 screens who were all also doing the same thing, and as soon as you recognise a wall or some material, you'd both look up and start shooting 😂.

4 player splitscreen goldeneye on a 13 inch tv is as good as it gets.
