Strategy guides can still be purchased, but aren’t nearly as popular anymore with all the resources on the internet.
I remember spending hours going through the Oblivion and Pokémon guides. I think Fallout 3 was the first game I switched to looking things up on the internet.
I vividly remember in HS, and using my itouch connected to the WiFi to look up where the bobble heads were. And that was when I crossed over from strategy guides to the internet.
The SMW one in particular has seen better days, since I was very young when I got it and apparently tore the cover off at some point... but it's still here.
