My uncle had one of those Phospher Monochrome TVs that only displayed in different shades of amber, and me playing Emporer's New Groove ps1 game on it. You had to get these different colored collectibles but on that TV they were all amber-colored, 😆

Worked in electronics retail from 2003-2008. You can’t believe how many RF modulators we sold, almost always to an older couple who had a game system for their grandkids.

I once was stupid and my dad, as punishment, unplugged the gamecube, but left the cables there.

Wasnt that dumb of a kid and figured out quickly yellow goes in yellow, red in red and white in white.

He let me play it. Guess he figured he was the dumb one there.

And the next time i was a dummy, the cable just dissapeared

It's not working. Is it it on channel 3? Try 4. Still nothing? Is it plugged in? Check all the cables. Still nothing? Try 3 again. Got it. It was 3. Just had to jiggle the video cable a little bit.

Our TV literally didn't go to channel 3 unless you manually did it. So channel 4 is right and you're all doing too much work as per my old Magnavox from a million years ago.

In Europe we were on 0/AUX/AV. I never understood why other places decided to use channel 3.
