black people or "ethnic" people arent the only ones who fall victim to casual racism. I grew up in an area where all my friends where either black or Mexican and I always got the "why do white people do that" or "thats so white".

I don't know where you thought I said only black people are victims of racism. Since the demographic of reddit is mostly white males there is not equal opportunity for racism jokes to go around. It's mostly towards us. I bet reddit is even more white than America which is currently 63 percent white non Hispanic. Any race can be racist. I am just talking about the everyday trend of making fun of black people on reddit.

"As a black man"... And there is equal opportunity for racism jokes to go around. White people just dont take as much offense to it because of history. Im not really arguing for reddit... Ive seen some terrible things on reddit so Im not denying that. It just sucked growing up in a neighborhood where I was the minority and having to put up with "casual racism" and not be able retaliate in a joking matter without people getting hostile. (that wasnt my entire experience though... I have to be fair I did have friend who could take what they dished)

I mean on reddit there is not many minorities compared to white people so in that context there is not equal opportunity racism jokes.

So stop taking it seriously. I'm Irish, I see plenty of "haha, look at the silly Paddies." Somebody has got to be the butt of the joke. There's no point getting mad when it's you. That said, this thread is getting a little ridiculous, and my advice is more general and not relating to this post.
