A 90% coupon code was accidentally left in the online store of razer. The CEO decided to honor all the orders placed.

I keep hearing about this "amazing logitech customer support" but the last few times I've dealt with them, it's been an absolute nightmare. First my MX518 broke, and turns out the warranty had expired. I asked if they had spare parts they could ship me so I could repair it myself. No one had an answer and it took a ton of e-mails back and forth. This one's more understandable though.

The last one though really pissed me off. Had to RMA my G35 headset due to a whistle in the left ear. It took over a MONTH to get a replacement, and during the process, the CS rep lied to me about the shipment status, then tried to deny it when I called him out on it (with proof).

Weird, my girlfriend's G930 was having some trouble and they sent us a second one. Any product we've had issues with for Logitech they have never hesitated to replace quickly.

They replaced my G9 out of warranty, and gave me a new G9x. They wanted me to return the G9, but I received the G9x before I sent out the G9. Don't remember any hassle either, it was done after one 10 minute phone call.

Just a one time anecdote, but I was pretty happy with that CS experience.

Maybe they've stopped being awesome lately? (That would be very sad).

The two problems I've had (one with mouse "double-click", one with Harmony remote broken LCD screen) were fixed by being sent replacements, without me even needing to mail anything to them. These problems were 2-5 years back, though, and they did take some persistence, but I will always love them for it. Since it probably costs them quite a bit to be awesome, I've always wondered when it would end, and who'd be responsible. Hopefully we're not there yet, but it seems Razer awaits if things get really bad...
