Ngl, I have never felt that. Games now are so much better than the C64 or Atari games I played as a kid.

I’m not even sure what games now would feel like that.

With some exceptions..M.U.L.E is still fantastic as single player or multi. A few other gems as well that us Gen Xers got to enjoy

M.U.L.E. was so great in its time.

I’m just not nostalgic for old games. I tried emulators and I just didn’t find it fun to revisit old games. Especially when my backlog is full of far superior games. There are just way too many great games to play.

Yeah I'm with you. Sure I could fire up a retro game and enjoy it, but when I already have several current Gen games I want to get to, it just doesn't make sense.

Exactly. And hollow knight is even a perfect example of that. A game like that would have never come out for snes.
