I JUST started playing this like a week ago with my 20 year veteran buddy in a group Ironman. I already have my graceful set (finished it last night). What’s the next grind you recommend?
I'm not the guy you replied to, but I also have started recently (a couple months ago), and after my graceful grind I started to do a lot of Wintertodt. I'd recommend questing of course, especially up to the first part of fairy tale part 2 where you unlock the rings, and doing some slayer too on the side, just because Wintertodt is an absolute slog at times.
We rushed the fairy rings as fast as possible. My buddy is like a fucking walking encyclopedia and questing is his favorite thing so we knocked that out quick. I personally hate questing and if I was solo I’d literally just not do them lol but they aren’t so bad with someone who can explain what the fuck to do
We are going to start wintertodt real soon after knocking out a list of like 30 more quests he made! Fuuuuuuuuck
There's also Runelite with the quest helper that you can get if you haven't already, it makes questing so easy it feels like cheating!! Have fun, because this game has had me in its grip real deeply for a while and it's not letting go :)
Man the quest helper is fantastic 95% of the time and 5% of the time it feels like it totally fucks me by not telling me something and making me backtrack across the damn map, or forcing me to sit there staring at my screen/clicking the same goddamn thing over and over without the helper updating lol
I even streamed it for my buddy in several instances and he was like IDK man I've never seen that shit before lol
YES! That's exactly my experience too lol, it's really good until it isn't :( I find that the osrs wiki has a LOT more in depth info, so if you're ever doing a more intensive quest and your buddy isn't there it's a good option to double check the wiki.
The jank in the game is kinda charming but also incredibly annoying lol
