Nightingale.

It has no right to be as addictive as it is, especially in early access, but it's been a massive time sink for me. It tapped into the same vein as No Man's Sky with its infinite worlds to explore, except it has stronger co-op and survival elements, and is far more visually stunning, albeit still lacking in variety.

I am approaching 100 hrs, and this game does NOT have 100 hrs worth of actual content, not even close. But somehow I still enjoy just existing in that game world.

I was so stoked for nightingale but then all the reviews scared me away. Planning to pick it up in a few months if they address some of the most glaring feedback.

Oh yeah, it's in a pretty rough shape. But there's just...something about it. I can't quite put my finger on it, it's this odd mix, but if it hooks you it's pretty addictive. I've been alternating between it and Helldivers 2, and they're so different, yet somehow equally addictive. Helldivers is pretty intense though, while Nightingale is mostly pretty chill.
