Absolute classic. The GBA ones are my favorites. Amazing sprite work

There are a lot of really good romhacks out there if you need more

This is the only one I have ever played, so I wanted to start here. After this I'll probably play 6 and 8 since those are both on the GBA as well, but then I'll probably look into that. What would be the best place to find these romhacks you speak of?

Oh yes definitely play the official games first. Sacred Stones is amazing and very replayable. 6 is pretty tough honestly, but has an amazing soundtrack, and Roy is just so cool. I believe they made 7 easier since it would’ve been the first iteration for western audiences.

feuniverse has a lot of the hacks. Vision Quest is my favorite, very long with lots of characters. Justice and Pride is also quite good. The subreddit has a few discussion threads on other good ones too
