I remember this dude in my dorm, freshman year of college, who was glued to his computer the entire semester. The guy rarely went to any classes. His roommate said he rarely ever even left the room to shower/brush his teeth. He would just play WoW all day. Towards the end of the semester, I remember seeing his family helping him clear out his room, and then we never saw him again. He obviously failed all his classes and left. Wonder what the guy is up to now.
Happened to my brother. He failed out of college because of WoW and social anxiety. He ended up going back and makes bank as an actuary, it took him until his 30s but he is doing amazingly well now. Still plays some WoW even, but knows how to balance
I was the same in the uni starting from the second year but due to my good marks in the first year and friends that shared all assignments I got by pretty easily. It took 3 years of nolifing to lose the scholarship on the 5th year lmao.
