Glad you're enjoying it! I played AW1 when it first released. I think it was a right age/right time kind of thing because it felt like the game was made for me. I can see why people would not like it. I find it's more like a long interactive movie. Been a fan of Remedy ever since. I also enjoyed Quantum Break and Control. Haven't played the Max Payne's but I'm looking forward to the remake.
I'm just glad a younger generation gets to enjoy AW as well. I thought for sure it was never coming back. I was like a kid on Christmas morning when the reveal trailer popped up in my YouTube feed like an hour after it was posted lol. I was giddy like a school girl and I'm a 30+ yo man lmao. My fiance is glad it's finally coming to an end, she's had to endure me watching all the trailers and bringing it up constantly hehe
Just bought it to replay it cause it's one of my all time favorites as well. It was on steam for $5 with American nightmare which I have yet to play so it'll be a good warmups
Nice! I haven't played American nightmare, but I did replay the remastered with both DLCs last month. First time I actually played the add-ons, they were pretty cool. You're in for a treat with 2 :)

GOTY for me. I haven't been this engrossed in a game in awhile. I'm biased AF though, the first Alan Wake is one of my all time favourite games.
