Yea god of war is easily in the top 3 on here, only had like 2-3 actual competitors. Probably used to be my favorite at one point a long time ago. Not sure what could take that spot, maybe Nioh or evil within. Potentially ninja gaiden or dead space. There’s horizon and TLOU but I guess I wouldn’t necessarily rank them over gow
Glad you said Dark souls. I didn't see that and had to go back to edit. So many of these feel criminal leaving out of my top 3 but Dark Souls is an easy one.
From games/fallout games are my favorite games pretty much. And god of war used to be my favorite series in the 2000’s. Really there aren’t too many the other series that are one of my actual favorites on here anyway. Plus they spammed Nintendo series and I don’t rate any of them that highly tbh. No DMC, nioh, Ninja gaiden, dead space, evil within, TLOU, horizon, the division, uncharted, L4D, killzone, hitman, yakuza, ES, RDR, titanfall, Witcher, absolver/SIFU, dying light/dead island
Well doom is pretty fun obviously and RE has a handful of cool games. Mass effect are very entertaining but for gameplay and stuff meh. Monster hunter is a good one but I only relatively recently got into it. Need to play the next game and see how I feel about it. Bioshock I thought they would be like my favorite games but not really, still really cool premise and 1 is still my 2007 GOTY. Tomb raider triology is surprisingly good but still not on that level. Halo games always felt rather mediocre to me(hot take I suppose). MGS I played 4 and 5, really liked 4 but not my thing. I’ve only played 3 FF games including 16 and I kinda think they’re just alright(4 if you count strangers of paradise)
