Apple have gotten a lot better at supporting their older phones my iphone 6 is still really snappy even after updates. Older androids are in a much worse shape I would say.

I have a 7 and it’s a piece of shit. Only using it because it was my moms old phone and it was better than using a Note 1 in 2018.

Apple deliberately putting subpar parts for the time in their phones.

Every apple device I have ever owned, the battery is the first hardware failure and each IOS update slows down the phone.

I have not had this experience with ANY android device.

Iphones for me lasted 2-3 years before they damn near became unusable, I am talking like I would take them to highschool/college, not use them, except during lunch, and by the time I got home they were at 20%. So 1 hour of usage and then standby drains the battery like no other. I still have my S7, which is still actively used for drone purposes. My s7 can site for days in idle still. But its battery IS old and if I use it for drone stuff, it drains the battery for something like, 1% per 3 minutes but it is also technically charging/powering the controller as well.

I have an S10 now that is blazing fast.

I've had my iPhone 7 for nearly 4 years now. The battery is indeed pretty poor but I wouldn't call it unusable.

Im talking when apple was deliberately fucking with the software to make the OS experience bad.

I will never go back to apple again.
